“Minorities in Metrópolis” is a photographic project by Juan Gonzalez del Cerro and Jorgelina Zabert, exploring the rich cultural dynamics of the Raval neighborhood in Barcelona. Through the lens of barbershops—spaces of work, social interaction, and community—they delve into the stories of immigrants, particularly the Pakistani community, revealing the ties that bind them to their heritage. This work seeks to illuminate the hidden layers of migration, identity, and belonging within the city’s vibrant, multicultural landscape.
